Jimmy became involved with HD in 1986 working with a specialty nursing home care unit in the NE and extensively with assisted living and long term care units in Massachusetts. With years of experience, he is a knowledgeable and engaging speaker, and a strong advocate for better understanding and for better services.
Currently he is a full time consultant for CHDI (Combat Huntington's Disease Initiative), a privately funded, non profit biomedical research organization devoted to research and development to slow the progression of HD, providing meaningful clinical benefits to patients as quickly as possible.
