CONGRATULATIONS Katilin DeJarnette!
Kaitlin DeJarnette was recently recognized by The University of Cincinnati as The Valuable Gem of the Quarter. It Is an award for social workers at UC where individuals are nominated by their fellow social workers and surrounding staff for enhancing social work services and improving patient care.
The following was noted as part of the recognition:
“Kaitlin recently has taken additional time outside of work hours to complete multiple trauma informed care CEU programs and presented to our clinical neurology staff best practices for trauma informed care in a medical setting. Her presentation had practical tips for providers backed by current research. Kaitlin is also in the process of providing a similar presentation on trauma informed care to local and national conferences this fall. Kaitlin is a wonderful addition to our social work team at UCGNI, she brings compassion, expertise, and continued education for our staff as a whole.”
Please join our Cincinnati HD Families in applauding Kaitlin on this well-deserved recognition. In her typical humble nature, Kaitlin commented to me “It definitely is an honor, and I am still shocked to have won the award.”
