Starting in May 2024, our monthly support group [which meets on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm] will return to The Beechwood Home, where our live, in-person participants will gather. This facility had been our monthly meeting home for many years prior to Covid. Due to their unique relationship to HD, they are now reopening their doors to our support group. You will still be able to join our meetings via the Internet.
Located in the suburban Hyde Park area, The Beechwood Home is a long-term care facility specializing in neurological disorders, which include but are not limited to people with a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Huntington's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, ALS, and those who have suffered a stroke.
In the May Buckeye Bulletin, our intrepid beat reporter
has provided detailed directions to steer you to Beechwood from the Dana Ave Exit off I-71 [frequently called the Hyde Park/Xavier U exit].
